This song was inspired by a strange phenomena that sometimes occurs to me. I'll awaken from a strange dream, tell my fiance all about it, only to realize I'm still dreaming. I'll then snap awake, in a bit of a panic, go grab a snack, tell my fiance about my strange experience, only to realize I was STILL in a dream. On a bad night this happens three or more times, till I become very lucid and try as hard as possible to wake up to no avail. I can have six false awakenings including a few minutes of consciously trying to wake from my now lucid dreams cape. It's pretty wild. As spooky as it is I hope to one day harness the lucid parts of my sleep for the creation of music.
